About NELCE
Getting Involved
NELCE is managed by community volunteers, with the support of the London InterCommunity Health Centre. It survives on the cooperation, commitment and dedication of the residents of Northeast London who to want to make positive change happen. Therefore, the success and improvement to our quality of life in this area of London, Ontario, is dependent on individuals like YOU getting involved in NELCE's work, projects and activities. Together, WE CAN make a difference in the lives of our fellow neighbours.
What are the qualifications to become a NELCE volunteer?
Just the drive to make positive change happen in your community, the commitment to helping others while being an active participant on the NELCE Council and its Committees and Action Groups, and a desire to engage with others who live around you, to help them become better citizens of Canada.
What are the rewards of volunteering with NELCE?
Whether you are a senior, retiree, homeowner, renter, university student, high school student, homemaker, in between job opportunities, or working, there is an opportunity within NELCE for you to contribute your gifts, skills and expertise.
Volunteering with NELCE is guaranteed to give you the opportunity for or rewards of:
